Shana Lynn Bresnahan: So Shannon, you talked about that, like really investing in that small group of members.
Courtney: So what would you say if that small group of members they find themselves to be unique. They're like, we don't know anyone else like us. We don't know how to bring other people in. We wanna grow it. Like they're invested in it, but they don't really know where to turn. And therefore I don't feel that I can like leverage them and their network.
Shana Lynn Bresnahan: Yeah. Chances are that and I would think about it this way. I would go, I. When you think about the type of person that you think would be a good fit for this community, would your friends have been able to identify you as that kind of person? Chances are, they wouldn't have. And so what I wanna encourage you to do is just to share more about what you're experiencing here and the kind of community that we've created, and trust that the right people, their ears will perk up and they'll be attracted to what we have going on.
So it's not about them going out and finding the perfect person to invite. It's about them casting a really wide net, sharing about the transformation that's happening, what they're experiencing, and knowing that's gonna perk up the ears of the right people. And the same is true for us, right?
We don't have to really focus in and try and find that exact person spread the message far and wide. And you will attract the right people to that community. So definitely go, Hey, before you join this community, do you think your friends would have identified you as this kind of person?
Probably not. But it's an invitation. It's an invitation and into something more and something deeper. And you're, you are core. I'll just say this really quick cause I know we gotta wrap up. Your core group of founders. Are most likely in the later stages of transformation already in your community?
Like I used to have a health and wellness community, and I taught moms how to care for their kids. Naturally. The initial people that I attracted were people just like me. They were already far along on the journey. They were already like health hippies, okay. But as we started to grow the community, we started to attract the curious.
Who are at the earlier stages. So they may be thinking, oh, I need people like me, when really they just need the curious, those who want to begin the journey. So that's the other part is your core group is often further along, but as you grow, the people you'll start attracting will be earlier in the stages.
Just in the curious, wanting that kind of transformation. Excellent.
Courtney: Thank you so much.
