Murtaza Bambot: Love it. Super insightful. We had another question which came in and I want to just make sure I get the name Michelle who asked do you have any tips for just like gamifying the onboarding video or even just like what to say besides onboarding instructions there?
Heather Angel: In the video tour. Are you talking about the tour, I'm sorry the tour or the welcome. Video or either.
I think it was a little bit of both. I think it was like onboarding video that people are first showed when they like jump into the community.
Yeah. Okay. So the onboarding video is really Just, hey, excited like as much enthusiasm as you can have as much again authentic personality that you can put in there. But just letting them know that you're really grateful for them. This is, it's a big deal that they chose to join your community.
And then, some of what you. what you stand for. At this point, they probably know who you are, but you can put a little tiny thing in there. I wouldn't focus on that because that'll come out in office hours and that kind of thing and throughout the community. But you can, also put in just a little bit of what they can expect in the community and what your kind of values and the purpose of it and make it short two minutes.
One minute if you want, it doesn't, it's not about the length, it's just about really welcoming them in. And then as far as the video tour the things that I would recommend to put in is explanation of spaces and how to navigate the home and the newsfeed. So like where your Like channel is where your channels are, and that and how to find that information.
So mine is what is mine? Notifications. Mine is notifications. And so that channel is the one that they I'm teaching them to go to, to find all of the most recent stuff that's come up. And then tour of the getting started space so that they know what that even is. And then how to see and adjust their notifications.
That's a big one. We went over that. How to direct message and how to update their profile. So those are there's a lot of other things you can put in there. I also duplicate this in the FAQ space, but yeah, those are just some of the suggestions.
