Doc Williams: Okay, so real quick, we're going to, I'm gonna switch real quick and I'm gonna give you an example of one of my clients, one of my students, and then also too, we, we can go with exact like, like rapid fire pricing for very specific industries and all of those things like that as well.
So I'll give you an example of one of my clients that over time, like how we created the process, all of these things, and then go from here. And by the way, I bring this one up because if Eric can do it with make a wood sign, anyone can do it. Eric, it's, it's says what's on the tin. He makes wood signs.
That's all he does, right? So he has a place where they're, they sell router bits. They do all of these things, right? So before he did not have a membership or anything that he was going with, and he is like, I want to be able to do more. How, how is that possible? Well, the first tier that we did was we knew that he wanted to do a membership, but he's like, what?
How can I even see if any anyone's interested? The first thing is we did a very mini course and it was just learning basics of sign carving to see if there was any traction at all. With this, They signed up and this lead magnet, he still gets about around 200 to 350 per month of just getting this basic sign carvings.
Now from there we're saying, Hey, do you want to have a membership? What would you, what would you, what would it look like? Basically getting on calls. This is how they broke down into their executive and their premium membership. It's 19 and $20 a month. They were getting a template of the month, so they would actually get a new tier for router for them to, I'm butchering it.
I know he's just dying at his house, me talking about it, but basically different designs in his wood woodcarving, they are allowed to do that. They, they get a tensile stencil free bit sharpening, so they send it into them, they'll sharpen it 45 minute video, 10% on discount of orders, and 50% on choruses.
This converts a lot higher than the lower pricing one. It just converts. And I'll tell you what, I would say, only less than 3% even do any of these things. They don't send in like their bits to sharpen. They just want to be part of the community. That's what they want. They wanna know that they have access to him.
Right. He also does a Zoom call quarterly with this group. And then at 9 95, this is pretty much, they're just getting another, a lower discount for their products and they go from there. This became, this is a probably like 25% of their business, but this is going to be increasing closer to Closer to probably 45 to 55% of their business is going to expand in the next 18 months.
Just by having a membership, just by having something like that. Right. So if you're, if you're looking at this, and I can give more examples, it does not matter on the type of business. It can be a hobby, a hobbyist, you're serving a hobby community all the way to something that is transforming their life like Drew's doing.
It does not matter. But understanding what your audience wants and then being able to put in the right steps for people to find out that you are the right fit for them and they understand you. That's great. For, drew was talking about, you know, his three-step process. One thing that I might have is, Maybe doing a five minute video explaining step one of the process.
So they hear Drew's voice, they understand his methodology, what's going on. It's a free lead magnet. They understand, hey, even before they joined the group and paying anything, they're still getting a benefit of what the group is about, what his methodology is, and then being able to tier from there. But it starts with the same thing.
Finding out what your audience is doing, what they're looking for, something free to understand or to hear from them more. And then reverse engineer. And by the way, the way, the way the pricing was during each session, I just asked them how much are they paying for his you know, buying things from them.
And they're like, I'm paying. I'm like, already, you know. Paying him over $250 a month, like on average, right? So the 10%, they're already like, it's a no-brainer. It already made sense for them to join the community. So as you're going through and trying to find out the logistics of the pricing tier for you, think about talking to people, what they value, how much it is, how much they're paying, and then going from there.
Okay? I have one more slide, but that, that's pretty much it for me, if that's okay. Yeah.
