Bri Leever: So Christina asked, did you fully move your Facebook group into the heart into heartbeat? I'm curious how people use the Facebook group used to the Facebook group, join and heartbeat community instead. Okay. Great question, Christina. I technically, I have a client who like is in the middle of migrating from a Facebook group into Heartbeat specifically.
So I can speak to some of the things that we did in that migration. I can't speak to the exact turnout. But Laura, did you have a specific example for this one, or do you want me to dive into that?
Laura Zug: Go right ahead. Yes, I do, but carry on. Yeah.
Bri Leever: So this is like a bigger question.
It's something that came up in our accelerator a lot, which is like, where is the best place to host my community? What type of, if I'm used to having a free membership in a Facebook group, like how do I transition that to a paid membership and heartbeat? There's a lot more here, but one, some of the things that I did to help with that transition from a Facebook group into heartbeat was number one, listening to your members.
Asking them not just necessarily assuming that they want to move, but asking them ahead of time. And once you're pretty confident that there's a good number of people who are interested in moving, and there's a lot of reasons I could give you why they would be a couple things that we did. One, we warm people up to the idea by identifying a couple people who we knew would be excited about the move into heartbeat.
Usually, people are generally very excited to get off of social media and into a safe, contained, intimate space. But picking three people who you know are going to be excited and giving them access to heartbeat ahead of time. Saying, hey, tinker around, test things out. And then I'd love for you to come back to the Facebook group and post a video about what are some of the things you're excited about with this move and migration to heartbeat?
That's a great way to seed excitement and make it feel like a community decision and not just like a top down, like we're going to move this because I said so decision.
Laura Zug: I also was just going to say, Christina, that Bri and I put together a PDF. And I just put the link where you can sign up to download that and it's, I don't know, it's probably seven or eight, maybe 10 pages and it's a checklist along with some strategy.
So that might help you. Yeah.
